Thor's New Vice President of Sales, The Americas, Brings Proven Track Record and Deep Enterprise Software Expertise to Identity Management Leader

With more than 20 years of enterprise software sales experience and a highly successful track record of building and driving sales in emerging technology markets, Fitzgerald is strongly positioned to expand Thor's enterprise customer base for its industry-leading identity management solutions. Fitzgerald reports to Thor chairman and CEO, J. Alberto Yepez.

Fitzgerald's distinguished career in sales management spans over two decades with tremendous achievement building successful sales organizations. Fitzgerald was most recently vice president of vertical strategies and strategic accounts at Opsware (formerly known as Loudcloud) and founded the company's federal business unit. Prior to Opsware, he was vice president and general manager of sales for Netscape, where he ran a large team that generated and contributed annual revenues consistently exceeding targeted sales goals. Fitzgerald also has extensive experience in sales and sales management in companies such as Oracle, EDS and PeopleSoft. Fitzgerald holds a BS degree from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from Boston College.
