WHAT: Skate-Aid for Tsunami Relief briefing and photo opportunity
Recently crowned 2005 National U.S. Ice Dance Champions Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto of Detroit will hold a briefing on Skate-Aid for Tsunami Relief.
Skate-Aid is a benefit ice show conceived and organized by Belbin and Agosto and friend Merrie Parr. The benefit will feature National, World and Olympic figure skaters performing to raise funds for tsunami victims. This event is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating.
Proceeds will be collected by the Detroit Metro Council of Figure Skating Clubs (a non-profit organization) and donated to the Red Cross International Response Fund for Tsunami Relief.
