East Coast Expansion Enables Model N to Provide Enhanced Service for Local Life Science Customers and Prospects

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Model N, Inc. today announced that it has opened a new office in Princeton, New Jersey. This office will accommodate the company's growing sales and services teams that are working closely with east coast-based Life Science prospects and clients. Model N's corporate headquarters will remain in South San Francisco, CA.

"Most U.S.-based Life Science companies are headquartered in either New Jersey or New York, and although we've had an East Coast-based workforce for years, our accelerating growth in 2004 has justified an expanded presence with our new anchor office in Princeton," said Steve Zocchi, vice president of sales and marketing for Model N. "By adding sales, field marketing and professional services personnel and expanding our footprint in New Jersey, we will position ourselves take full advantage of the tremendous customer interest and need for Revenue Management solutions, while managing our growing business with current customers and ensuring the ongoing delivery of service levels they expect."

Model N currently has approximately 100 employees who work in the South San Francisco headquarters location or remotely from around the world. The new Princeton office is intended to provide office space for sales, field marketing and professional services personnel, some of whom will relocate to New Jersey from Northern California. In addition, there are plans in place to hire additional employees to double the size of the Princeton office by the end of Calendar year 2005 in order to manage major customer implementations planned and underway both managed by Model N directly and those led by top Systems Integrators which Model N has developed strategic relationships with.
