Leading In-Room Entertainment Company Signs Exclusive Agreement with Hyatt Hotels Corporation
DENVER, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- On Command announced today an exclusive seven-year agreement with Hyatt Corporation to offer On Command's video-on- demand pay-per-view services in Hyatt's United States properties. Hyatt's hotels and resorts will be upgraded to On Command's Roommate(TM) system and Canvas(TM) software, which will provide Hyatt's guests with new state-of-the-art services including Walled Garden Video Concierge(TM) and SurveyNext(TM).
With this agreement, On Command will be the provider of in-room entertainment in 116 Hyatt hotels in the United States supporting nearly 58,000 rooms. The new system will include a "Walled Garden" Video Concierge(TM) service, which will provide a video showcase of each property's features and facilities to Hyatt's guests via the television. The Walled Garden Video Concierge(TM) will also provide meeting schedule information, a sophisticated guest survey with real time response capabilities, folio review, video checkout, and numerous other state-of-the-art services.
