GSN's 'American Dream Derby' Races Into the Home Stretch
Series Culminates With Live Race on President's Day, February 21st at Santa Anita Park

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Eight of the original twelve contestants from AMERICAN DREAM DERBY will choose their mounts for a live race on February 21st (7:00 - 8:00 PM ET, 4:00 - 5:00 PM PT) on GSN's first live simulcast, THE AMERICAN DREAM DERBY. Host track Santa Anita Park will be racing all day with the DERBY race being the last post of the day. LeAnn Rimes will perform the show's theme song, "You Take Me Home" as part of the sixty minute program, hosted by Steve Santagati.
The first reality show set in this exciting arena, AMERICAN DREAM DERBY was filmed at one of the most beautiful and historic race tracks in the world today, Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. This unprecedented series premiered on Monday, January 10 and started with 12 contestants from around the United States. By the end of the seventh episode, airing Monday, February 14, three contestants will remain. Five of the nine players eliminated over the course of the first seven episodes will be voted back as "long shots" by viewers who log onto GSN.com between February 14 and February 17 (one vote per day, per person), determining the eight contestants who will get to choose a thoroughbred to race for $250,000 and all of the horses that race that day. Post time for the race will be 4:38 PM, Pacific Time.
