GSA Welcomes Large Industry Crowd for In-Depth BOB Protocol Training Session
Two-Day Familiarization Seminar Extols Benefits of New BOB Standard
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Demonstrating its deep commitment to the industry, the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) recently hosted a two-day technical training seminar on its newly released Best of Breed (BOB) protocol and development suite. The training session, called "BOB under the Hood," was held in Las Vegas and drew more than 50 attendees representing 15 companies from within GSA's membership.
GSA President Peter DeRaedt said, "We were pleased to organize GSA's first ever hands-on training session specifically designed for our membership. The response by the membership was so overwhelming that we've decided to hold a second training session in March. The Best of Breed protocol is the most exciting advancement in gaming in recent memory, and people from across the industry want to learn more about BOB and the benefits it can bring to a casino's operation."
The in-depth technical session was specially designed for electronic gaming machine and system development organizations and walked attendees through the intricacies of the BOB protocol and its accompanying development suite. Attendees received a complimentary 60-day trial version of the BOB development suite.
The sessions were provided by GSA free of charge to attendees and were led by Russ Ristine of Russ Ristine Associates and Ethan Tower of GSA member company Game Logic. Tony Antonucci of Digital Dynamics and Marty Wegner of Ohkmar Consulting provided assistance.
