Find YP to Launch New Rates and Data Information Source for the Yellow Pages Industry

Find YP is currently accepting directory data and ad rates from Yellow Pages publishers for inclusion in its new Web-based eRates and Data(TM) offering.

VERNON, N.J., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Find YP, a marketing information company, announced today that it is now accepting directory data and ad rates from Yellow Pages publishers for inclusion in its new eRates and Data(TM) product, that will be released to the Yellow Pages industry on March 1, 2005.

With its user-friendly interface and advanced search capability, the new Web-based product has been designed to significantly enhance the quality and depth of directory information available for both print and Internet-based products.

"We anticipate that eRates and Data will become an invaluable marketing tool, and utilized as the primary data resource by all agencies involved in national advertising sales," said Phil Wojcik, president of Find YP. "We are pleased to be able to bring this product to the industry at a price that will make it attractive to every publisher, big and small, to list their product information."

The eRates and Data product is equal to any product currently available on the market, with regards to directory data and rates, plus it contains the following key features:

* Searches by directories in the U.S. by Median Income, Ad Description,
Zip Code, County and DMA.
* Full color delivery area maps, including surrounding towns and zip
codes of the available directories.
* County level demographic reports based upon the delivery scope of the
directory.
* Monthly and annual CPM calculations for each available ad type in a
directory.
* A list of available Headings for each directory.
* No software or data download is required to use.
* No membership fees to use the service.

eRates and Data will also contain a special section for Internet/electronic publishers, allowing them to post information about available ads targeted to local, state or national levels, along with cost- per-keyword for local search and sponsorship listings.

"We believe this new product exceeds the capabilities of anything currently available in the marketplace," said Larry Angove, president of the Association of Directory Publishers, the oldest and largest trade association representing directory publishers. "The product features are ones for which our members have been clamoring for some time. It is an information resource that will benefit the entire industry by expanding functionality and lowering costs, and therefore, ADP will encourage all of its members to evaluate it."

The industry will have an opportunity to test-drive eRates and Data first- hand at the upcoming Yellow Pages Association (YPA) and Association of Directory Publishers (ADP) industry conventions, where Find YP will be exhibiting.

"eRates and Data should provide Yellow Pages agencies with all of the information they need in one place to help their national advertiser clients make informed media buying decisions," said Ken Clark, publisher of "YP Talk," a newsletter serving the greater Yellow Pages industry. "By providing these enhanced features and offering the product at attractive price points for publishers and CMRs, it could become the complete information source that the industry has been searching for to help stimulate national sales."
