SANTA CLARA, Calif., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- FileMaker, Inc. today announced the availability of a free FileMaker Online Video Training program for customers who purchase and register their FileMaker 7 product between January 3, 2005 and March 25, 2005. The free two months of video training -- a $60 (U.S.) value -- is valid in the U.S. and Canada for purchasers of new, upgrade and education (boxed retail versions only) of FileMaker Pro 7, FileMaker Developer 7, FileMaker Server 7 and FileMaker Server 7 Advanced.

The FileMaker Online Video Training is provided by the Virtual Training Company (www.vtc.com) and offers customers a fun, easy way to learn FileMaker at their own pace. The training program provides step-by-step instructions, self-paced online tutorials and convenient accessibility through the user's web browser. In addition to accessing FileMaker Pro 7 training videos, participants will also have access to 250 training videos for many of today's leading software applications.

Availability and Eligibility

System Requirements

The video training requires a web browser and QuickTime 6 or higher. FileMaker Pro 7 runs on both Microsoft Windows XP and Apple's Mac OS X 10.2.8. In addition, the computer monitor's screen resolution must be set to a minimum of 1024 x 768. FileMaker Server 7 and FileMaker Server 7 Advanced run on both Microsoft Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition and Server SP4 and on Macintosh OS X Server 10.2.8.
