$18 Million and Growing; Mega Millions Jackpot Is on the Move as Players Win More Than $2.5 Million in Prizes

MEGA MILLIONS, Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Mega Millions players from coast to coast won more than $2.5 million in prizes in the Tuesday, January 25, 2005 drawing. A total of 261,511 tickets were winners. These include seven tickets that each won $175,000 and 21 tickets that each won $5,000. There was no jackpot winner, so the jackpot is on the move and estimated at $18 million for the Friday, January 28, 2005 drawing.

Tuesday's winning numbers were: 02-10-21-25-45 and the Mega Ball number was 22.

The seven tickets that won Mega Millions' second highest prize of $175,000 matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were sold in Illinois (1), Michigan (1), New Jersey (1), New York (2), Texas (1) and Washington (1).

Mega Millions players won a total of $2,570,853 in Tuesday's drawing. Here is a breakdown:
