Shares of Orckit Communications To Be Added to Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Indexes

TEL AVIV, Israel, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Orckit Communications Ltd. (NASDAQ:ORCT), a leading provider of metro optical transport solutions, today announced that effective Sunday, January 2, 2005 its shares will be added to the Tel Aviv-75 (TA-75) stock index, and the Tel Aviv-100 (TA-100) stock index.

The TA-100 index is composed of the 100 largest companies on the Tel Aviv stock exchange by market capitalization. The TA-75 index includes all companies that comprise TA-100, excluding the companies which comprise the TA-25 index.
