GREENSBORO, N.C., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jefferson Pilot Financial, one of the nation's leading providers of universal and variable universal life insurance and fixed annuities, announced today that its producer Web site, My JPF, has moved to the fourth position among Web sites for life insurance and annuity financial professionals in DALBAR's third- quarter 2004 WebMonitor rankings.

This is the highest-ever ranking for My JPF, marking the third consecutive quarter that the site has ranked among DALBAR's top 10 and the 16th straight quarter in which Jefferson Pilot Financial has received a top-25 ranking. My JPF previously ranked sixth on the list.

DALBAR, a Boston-based research company, tracks Web site innovations across the financial services industry and identifies the industry's best sites. Rankings are based on functionality, usability, content currency, content consistency and behavior-centric support.

The rise in standings was prompted, in part, by the introduction of a new sales support solution designed to provide advisers with practical, point-of- sale material for advanced markets. The Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA) includes client-approved presentations, one-page planning ideas, specimen documents, fact finders and tax information.
