WESLEY HILLS, N.Y., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GuruNet Corporation (AMEX:GRU), a leading provider of integrated online reference information, today announced the appointment of Mark B. Segall to the Board of Directors of the Company.

Mr. Segall is the founder and CEO of Kidron Corporate Advisors LLC, a NY- based M&A and corporate advisory boutique serving emerging growth companies primarily in the technology and financial services sectors. Prior to forming Kidron in 2003, Mr. Segall was the CEO of Investec Inc., the US investment banking operations of the Investec Group, a UK and South African based specialist bank. Mr. Segall began his career as an attorney, specializing in cross border M&A and capital markets activities. He was a partner at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. Mr. Segall received his BA from Columbia University and his JD from New York University Law School.

Mr. Segall serves on the boards of directors of Greg Manning Auctions Inc., the Comtech Group and Integrated Asset Management. Mr. Segall was also a director of Siliconix inc. until June 2004.
