dotMP Customers Can Reserve Their Mobile Domain Names Directly From Their Mobile Phones

SAIPAN, CNMI, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Saipan DataCom, Inc. has made .mp mobile domain reservations available from mobile phones. Customers go to http://get.mp/ on their mobile phones and reserve their .mp mobile domain names for dotMP PS (Personal Site). Reserved names are held for 24 hours during which time customers go back to http://get.mp/ on a desktop or laptop and complete the registration process.

dotMP PS (Personal Site) provides users with their own .mp domain name and their own Web site, Mobile Site, and Email. Email can be read and sent from mobile phones and camera phone users can upload photos directly to their sites. dotMP should not be confused with Nokia, Microsoft, Samsung, and Vodafone's proposed mTLD Alliance ".mobi" TLD currently under scrutiny after preliminary approval by ICANN. Unlike ".mobi," dotMP is available now and has a growing community of business and personal users worldwide.
