BreastCancerADVISORS.org Launches the `Donate an Idea' Program to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness
PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Believing that the best ideas come from real people, BreastCancerADVISORS.org is asking the breast cancer community, including patients, caregivers, researchers, and medical professionals, to "Donate an Idea" for increasing breast cancer awareness. The idea judged best by BreastCancerADVISORS.org will be posted on the Web site, and every effort will be made to secure funding to turn the idea into reality. There's even an easy way for Web site visitors to tell friends, family, and coworkers about the program with a prewritten e-mail, so they can submit their ideas, too.
BreastCancerADVISORS.org, supported by an educational grant from AstraZeneca, is committed to making sure more women understand the importance of early breast cancer detection and treatment.
With the recent success of many innovative awareness programs launched during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2004, BreastCancerADVISORS.org is already looking forward to keeping the momentum going in 2005.
The "Donate an Idea" program is expected to generate actionable suggestions designed to spread the word about the need for breast cancer screening, early detection, and treatment to the millions of women who need to know about this devastating disease. This year alone, more than 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Early detection and improved treatment means fewer women are dying, but thousands still succumb annually in the United States alone.
Donating an idea is easy. Visit http://www.breastcanceradvisors.org/ and click on the "Donate an Idea" link. Fill out the online form and submit it. It's really that simple. BreastCancerADVISORS.org even provides a prewritten e-mail that can be sent to friends, family, and coworkers to spread the word about the "Donate an Idea" program.
The best idea will be posted on the Web site in April 2005, and BreastCancerADVISORS.org will make every effort to find a sponsor to make the idea become a reality during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2005.
