TORONTO, Aug. 9, 2016 /CNW/ - As announced yesterday, superstar country duo Florida Georgia Line is set to help kick off the debut broadcast of CTV's new national morning show YOUR MORNING, airing Monday, Aug. 22 at 6 a.m. ET on CTV, CTV GO, and CTV News Channel. Fans can be part of YOUR MORNING's live Florida Georgia Line fan event by visiting www.CTV.ca/YMTickets to obtain a wristband.

Currently in the middle of the sold-out headline DIG YOUR ROOTS tour, the CCMA, CMT, ACM and AMA Award-winning #1 hit duo Florida Georgia Line will cruise into Bell Media's famous parking lot at 299 Queen St. West in Toronto to help usher in Canada's new morning show.

"We want a bold and bright start to YOUR MORNING and couldn't be more excited to have Florida Georgia Line join us for our debut," said Executive Producer, Michelle Crespi. "This is just the first of many headliner acts, both Canadian and international, to perform at our downtown studios."

Skyrocketing to success in 2012 with the mega smash "Cruise" and selling out concerts around the world, Florida Georgia Line's history-making duo Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard join YOUR MORNING for its big premiere, Aug. 22, just days before the release of their third studio album Dig Your Roots on Aug. 26. Continuing to evolve musically, the duo has created a signature sound that has garnered 11 #1 hits over the past four years and numerous awards. With their #1 single "H.O.L.Y." currently sweeping radio charts across North America, Florida Georgia Line is set to perform the smash hit along with the Diamond-certified single "Cruise" and brand new track "May We All" (featuring Tim McGraw), for fans live in the lot and Canadians across the country.

Florida Georgia Line join YOUR MORNING hosts Ben Mulroney and Anne-Marie Mediwake, and anchors Melissa Grelo (Late Morning), Lindsey Deluce (News), and Kelsey McEwen (Meteorologist) in the series debut. YOUR MORNING will deliver original perspectives and unique insights into the headlines of the day, as well as weather, while showcasing lifestyle topics of interests to Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

Premiering August 22, YOUR MORNING will air weekday mornings from 6-9 a.m. on CTV (Ontario, Québec, and Eastern Canada) and CTV GO as part of CTV's leading original daytime lineup, and nationally on CTV News Channel.
