TORONTO, July 13, 2016 /CNW/ - After struggling to get all their ducks in a row at the Road Block, sadly the race ended in Vietnam for the father-son duo Stéphane and Antoine. Despite trying their best, the pair fell behind after they decided to take a four-hour penalty when Stéphane was unable to herd 20 ducks from a flock of 300, into his pen. Feeling the heat, and suffering from heat exhaustion, the father and son duo became the second team eliminated from THE AMAZING RACE CANADA at the Mekong Lodge Pit Stop.
"I would have loved to win THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, but no money can buy the memories we're taking back with us and the moments we spent together. And I'm happy [Stéphane] was there to share it with me," said Antoine about his experience on the Race. "No regrets" added Stéphane.

Episode 403 Recap
All nine remaining teams travelled over 11,000 kilometres from the Pit Start in Calgary to Cái Bè on the banks of the Mekong River in Vietnam. Teams got a taste of life in the Mekong Delta as they visited one of the river's biggest and busiest floating markets. Armed with only a shopping list written entirely in Vietnamese, teams travelled in water taxis and searched through the floating vendors to locate four items on their list: a ceramic statue, fermented tofu, a basket of fruit, and a 10 pound bag of rice. Once they collected everything, teams had to find and deliver their goods to Mr. Tan on Tan Phong Island to receive their next clue.
Kelly and Kate took the lead as the first team on the ferry from Cái Bè to search for the next clue at the Ben Pha Cái Bè qua Tan Phong. Four teams, however, failed to properly follow their clue and took water taxis instead. As a result, Ashley and Joel, Jillian and Emmett, Rita and Yvette, and Anne and Tanya received 30-minute penalties at the Pit Stop.
Once they got to Ben Pha Cái Bè qua Tan Phong, teams were faced with a feathery Road Block. Using only poles with flags, one team member had to separate 20 ducks from a flock of 300 and move them from the herd into a pen. Stéphane and Antoine fell behind, as Stéphane managed to help out other teams but struggled to get his own pen filled with ducks.
Father and daughter team Joel and Ashley were the first team to leave the Road Block and deliver two ducks to a duck vendor at the chaotic Cho Caib landmarket, where they received their next clue.
This clue led teams to a Detour, Hydrate or Vibrate. In Vibrate, teams had to master a complex and traditional drum dance. In Hydrate teams had to locate a dock on the river, where they loaded a sampan with 60 coconuts. Once all the coconuts were loaded, teams had to travel downriver and locate a marked dock where they had to deliver their cargo.
For coming in last in the previous non-elimination leg, before moving on to the Detour, Kelly and Kate had to complete a Speed Bump. They had to spring into action and deliver tasty toads to a local toad vendor.
Joel and Ashley arrived first at the Pit Stop, and after serving their 30-minute penalty still finished first, winning a trip for two to Tokyo, Japan with five nights' accommodation provided by Hotels.com. And after giving it their all, father and son team Stéphane and Antoine were last to arrive at the Pit Stop and were eliminated from the race.
