LOS ANGELES, May 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Wondery announced today the addition of three audio drama series to its lineup: Radio Drama Revival, The Cleansed and Ruby: Adventures of A Galactic Gumshoe.

Ruby comes from ZBS, the production company co-founded by audio drama pioneer Thomas Lopez. Originally produced for NPR and broadcast around the world in 23 countries, the award-winning series is "fast-paced and funny intergalactic entertainment the Marx Brothers would be proud of." Ruby is a hip, tough-talking detective hired to track down the malefactors who are manipulating the media on the planet Summa Nulla (the "high point of nothing").

Also joining Wondery are The Cleansed, a series, and Radio Drama Revival, an anthology collection, both produced by Fred Greenhalgh of Final Rune Productions.

Hosted by David Rheinstrom, Radio Drama Revival has had over 5 million downloads in 130+ countries, interviewed 120+ dramaturges of the classic and modern era, and featured over 400 hours of original content from the best producers all over the world.

Greenhalgh's original series The Cleansed is a post-apocalyptic saga that bills itself as 'equal parts Mad Max and The Stand,' and posits a world where fossil fuel scarcity has led to grid collapse, and warring factions of survivalists, zealots, and militarists vie for control of the fallen world. It was recorded using Greenhalgh's film-like location recording techniques, bringing actors into tunnels, woods, farmhouses, boats, and aircraft hangars.
