LOS ANGELES, April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Music icon, Grammy winner and star of TV's hit The Voice, Christina Aguilera joins Emmy and Tony Award winning singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth, multi-award winning recording artist and world-renowned platinum selling singer/songwriter Leona Lewis and previously announced The Late Late Show host and Tony winner James Corden to headline the star-studded Rebels With a Cause gala fundraiser, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Barker Hangar, Santa Monica. The evening benefits the groundbreaking research led by David B. Agus, MD, Director of the Westside Cancer Center and Center for Applied Molecular Medicine (CAMM) at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Sixteen-time Grammy Award winner David Foster returns as Musical Director and internationally acclaimed director and producer Don Mischer is set to produce.

The evening honors author, social activist and psychologist Dr. Cheryl Saban and entertainment industry leader and pioneer Haim Saban, both noted philanthropists. Sandy and David Ellison along with Skydance Media Co-Chair the event. C.L. Max Nikias, President of the University of Southern California is Honorary Co-Chair.

One of the most accomplished performers of the last decade, Christina Aguilera has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, achieved four No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won six Grammy awards. She has also received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has had the prestigious honor of being named the only artist under the age of 30 included in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the 100 greatest singers of all time. In 2011 she entered the world of TV as a coach on NBC's Emmy Award winning show The Voice. Christina continues to use her voice for good. She has served as global spokesperson for Yum! Emmy and Tony winning actress and singer Kristen Chenoweth takes the lead in a career that spans film, television, voiceover and stage. Best remembered by Broadway lovers everywhere for her Tony nominated role as Glinda the Good Witch in the original production of Wicked, she scored a Tony for her performance in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. In 2015, Chenoweth returned to Broadway in On the Twentieth Century, capturing Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards.
