Fastest growing nationally televised DIY Automotive Improvement® series receives garage flooring makeover

INDIO, Calif., Jan. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Entering its seventh season, Motorz TV receives a garage flooring makeover with Swisstrax interlocking floor tiles. The popular DIY Automotive Improvement® series is filmed out of a standard residential two-car garage that was converted into a full television studio. Executive producer and host of Motorz, Chris Duke, said, "This is the third flooring that I've installed in the studio. I started out with other very hard plastic tiles followed by a very soft flooring solution. Swisstrax is by far the best looking and easiest to install flooring."

Choosing Swisstrax's most popular interlocking tile, Ribtrax, Duke and his daughter, Melanie, installed all of the full tile pieces within two hours. Duke then cut-to-fit the remaining tiles in accordance to his walls and other permanent or immoveable objects and structures. Installs of Swisstrax flooring do not require any special tools; however, when applicable, cuts can be made using a jigsaw, circular saw or table saw.

The Motorz TV studio designed a floor with colors that matched their brand - Royal Blue, Pearl Silver and Jet Black. Royal Blue was used in the outlying parts of the floor while a Jet Black perimeter box was filled in with Royal Blue and Pearl Silver tiles in a checkerboard pattern. The overall look of the floor represented a contemporary, yet classic feel. Duke concluded, "The other floors I've installed looked good, but Swisstrax looks great, stunning and amazing. The colors really pop! It has completely changed the look of the Motorz TV studio for life and I can't wait to see the upcoming segments we will film with the new flooring."
