Relativity Media Appoints Kenneth Halsband As Chief Operating Officer

Long-time Relativity Production Executive Elevated To Lead Company-wide Operations

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Relativity Media LLC ("Relativity") today announced that Kenneth Halsband, President of Physical and Post Production at Relativity Studios, will add to his responsibilities the title of Chief Operating Officer of Relativity, effective immediately.

In his new role, Mr. Halsband will oversee day-to-day operations across Relativity's business units, including film, scripted television, sports, digital and music. Additionally, Mr. Halsband will continue to leverage his physical and post production experience working closely with newly appointed Relativity Studios Chairman Kevin Spacey and President Dana Brunetti, who joined the company following Relativity's acquisition of Trigger Street Productions.

Drawing on two decades of production experience, Mr. Halsband joined Relativity in 2007. As Head of Physical and Post Production, he was responsible for budgeting, production, post production, delivery, downstream servicing, and global content security for all Relativity films. He also co-produced such titles as the Oscar®-winning film The Fighter and Relativity's box office hits Dear John, Limitless, Immortals, and Safe Haven and oversaw Relativity's co-productions and acquisitions, such as Free Birds, The Family, House at the End of the Street and Black or White.

Halsband also leads the studio's efforts to expand film incentives in states and countries with developing film industries. In 2006, prior to joining Relativity, Halsband founded Finish Line Post, an independent technology lab and digital post-production company.
