In the episode titled "A Reptile Dysfunction," a local legend comes back to life as Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigate a mysterious sighting linked to a tourist's death at a local lake. Fodor appears in the show as 'Elizabeth Eiger', a vacationer whose first-hand witness account provides critical information to help the detectives with the case.

Fodor was thrilled to work on the popular show, especially considering veteran television director David Straiton was at the helm. Fodor says, "I was fortunate to spend a few days on this set, and it couldn't have been a better experience. David created such a supportive, relaxed environment for the actors, it really helped while filming my intense, emotional scenes." She adds, "The series leads, David and Russell, and the entire cast and crew, were gracious, fun, and wonderful. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to work on this hit series."

This petite package of energy and talent was born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii, and has been acting professionally since she was young. "My third grade teacher, Mrs. Holloway, encouraged me to audition for the school play, and the rest, as they say, is history!" Growing up, Fodor performed in many plays and musicals, and worked on several film and TV sets that shot in the islands, including LOST, BAYWATCH: HAWAII, NORTH SHORE, and THE SHAGGY DOG. Fodor continued studying acting at Brandeis University in Boston, and completed a rigorous two-year MFA equivalent in Meisner technique at the Baron/Brown Conservatory here in LA.

Over the years, Fodor has developed an impressive and varied acting resume. Her international experience and skill set includes Shakespeare's THE MERCHANT OF VENICE in Hong Kong, SANMASAN'S SHOW on NHK in Tokyo, and video game motion capture on XCOM: THE BUREAU in San Francisco. Additional film credits include the award-winning features JASMINE and EAT WITH ME. A skilled comedy actor, Fodor has worked on several sketch shows, including BUBALA PLEASE, WHAT THE ?!, and ASIAN COMEDY NEWS, and performed live with Hollywood's STRAIT JACKET SOCIETY. She also co-founded the all-female sketch group 4PLAY COMEDY LA, writing, producing and performing online content for YouTube and Funny or Die.

Stephanie Fodor is represented theatrically by Jennifer Sims at RPM Talent Agency.
