Fans have been waiting for the day that Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) consummated their relationship and it was certainly worth the wait! After more than five years of dating, the pair spend their first night together. Sheldon consults his Obi-Wan Kenobi (EMMY® Award-winner Bob Newhart) about his insecurities, before ultimately relinquishing his Star Wars ticket and taking the plunge. There's no mistaking their chemistry, their "coitus" goes off without a hitch, leaving the pair committing to make it an annual event. Not to be overshadowed, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), and Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) are also busy deciding who will take their extra Star Wars movie ticket.

Viewers can also catch an all-new episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY tonight, entitled "The Sales Call Sublimation" (Thursday, Jan 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV GO). Penny (Kaley Cuoco) gets more than she bargained for when Leonard (Johnny Galecki) agrees to meet with a psychiatrist (Jane Kaczmarek, THE SIMPSONS) on her behalf. Meanwhile, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) collaborate on an astronomical discovery, and Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) can't believe what they are feeling after Stuart (Kevin Sussman) moves out.
