JOURNEY TO SPACE: EXHIBITION & 3D FILM
What:A media preview for Journey to Space: The Exhibition
and special screening of the film Journey to Space 3D featuring a Q&A with director Mark Krenzien immediately following the screening.
The exhibition and 3D film together are a unique pairing that offer an extraordinary vision of the future for the next generation of explorers and scientists.
Journey to Space: The Exhibition examines the environment of space, including the hazards faced by astronauts and the innovative solutions developed by engineers to help them survive. The exhibition features a large-scale interactive called the Destiny Lab, where guests can experience the disorientation of spaceflight. Hands-on exhibits, games, and incredible footage of real crew members aboard the International Space Station show how we are learning to live and work in space.
Journey to Space 3D explores the past and ambitious future of human space travel. Narrated by film and television legend, Sir Patrick Stewart, the film showcases the existing challenges and future plans by NASA and the space community to carry out missions that once seemed impossible - like landing astronauts on Mars.
