The Good People Set to perform at Structures Built Records "You Dig?" Farewell Party
NEW YORK, Aug. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- One of Hip-Hop's most unique duos is hitting the road internationally. The Good People, comprised of Emskee and The Saint are set to perform August 28, 2015 at the infamous May Cafe in Toronto. The duo will take the stage at 9pm (Eastern). The Cafe has hosted some of music's biggest acts. The Good People are set to take the stage as part of Structure Built Records "You Dig?" Farewell Party.
You Dig? (Monthly) is a DJ party that happens the last Friday of every month. You Dig? (Monthly) is a platform for the underrated DJs & Emcees home-grown in Toronto and world-wide to showcase their skills and their talents. You Dig? (Monthly) breaks new records Funk and Soul, Classic Hip Hop old/new, Jazz, Disco and much more. You Dig? is dedicated to physical vinyl.
The Good People continue to build a loyal fan base that extends from hip hop's traditional roots in New York City to newer fan bases in Europe. The duo is excited to take their act across the border to Canada and getting the chance to play in one of the country's best music cities, Toronto.
The Saint has this to say about heading to Toronto, "We typically have our one big show for the summer and this is it for the summer of 2015. We are going to be performing some songs from our catalog for the first time and will have a special guest joining us as well. Definitely looking forward to this show in Toronto."
According to Emskee about this performance, "Not only is this a great opportunity because we're taking our brand of skills across the border to Canada (and we love to travel) to perform for a crowd that appreciates authentic hip hop/soul, but since we haven't performed in more than a few months, this is a barometer to see where we are before embarking on some college tour dates coming up. I'm really excited."
After the event, the duo plans to finalize plans for an upcoming college tour to promote their music.
