Artists Can Submit Their Crowdfunding Idea for a Chance to be Featured on TV and Win $5,000 Toward Their Project

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ovation, America's only arts network, and RocketHub, a leading crowdfunding platform, are announcing their partnership to launch Creative Studio, a joint initiative designed to assist artists in funding their creative projects. The announcement was made today by Charles Segars, CEO of Ovation, and Brian Meece, CEO of RocketHub, and is set to go live in October.

Ovation and RocketHub are seeking a variety of different projects to launch Creative Studio. Submissions received between August 4 and September 4, 2015 will be judged by a panel of arts, television and crowdfunding experts from around the country. Each of the top three projects will be awarded $5,000 in seed funding to help jumpstart their project on Creative Studio, as well as a chance to be featured on TV.
