Verizon Wireless Readies Network For Large Austin Crowds

AUSTIN, Texas, March 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Verizon 4G LTE network is ready for the thousands of fans heading to Austin in March to enjoy music, films and interactive media at the annual conference. Network technicians have prepared to ensure peak performance for Austin residents and festival-goers. Attendees with Verizon devices can enjoy the event without worrying about the performance of their wireless service.

To prepare for the events, the Verizon network teams have enhanced coverage and increased capacity at all of the sites covering this event, including the Austin Convention Center, Downtown Austin, 6(th) Street and Auditorium Shores. Additionally, Verizon has expanded its XLTE network in more than 400 markets, including Austin, to boost network capacity and enhance high-speed services for customers.
