Kill The Cup Wins National Startup Pitch Competition; March Dream Big America Contestants Announced
KANSAS CITY, Mo., March 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The February 2015 Round of Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), concluded this past week, and Kill The Cup was announced this morning as the February Dream Big Champion. Three new startups presented this morning to kickoff the March Dream Big America competition. The three companies that presented on the show were Bonfire Wines, Weed Spinner, and MagneKlip.
Kill The Cup (www.KillTheCup.com), won both a preliminary round as well as the Finals Round on February 27(th), and received the highest number of votes during the February Dream Big America competition. Drew Beal, the company's Chief Environmental Optimist, presented Kill The Cup during both rounds. Kill The Cup will receive marketing and publicity support from the Dream Big America sponsors.
Kill The Cup is the nation's largest reusable cup campaign, dedicated to reducing the amount of waste created by disposable cups and bottles. Kill The Cup, located in San Diego, California, implements waste reduction campaign at colleges, coffee shops, and corporate offices across the country.

Three new startups presented during this morning's live pitch competition to launch the March 2015 round of Dream Big America. During today's show from 9:10-9:50am EST, the spokesperson for each company gave a two-minute pitch of their business concept to the national Dream Big America listening audience. Bonfire Wines (www.DrinkBonfire.com), based in Chicago, Illinois, was presented by founder and CEO Eric Steigelman. Bonfire Wines crafts premium wines farmed from California vineyards, and has created a unique position in the wine industry through technological, sustainable, and social innovation.
Weed Spinner (www.WeedNTill.com), based in Lakeland, Florida was presented by owner and inventor Vern Ader. Weed Spinner oversees a unique invention called the Weed N Till, a low cost, durable weed control tool that is fast, efficient and easy to use.
MagneKlip (www.MagneKlip.com) is a hand towel invention that keeps hands and equipment dry during golf play without delaying game to search for towel. MagneKlip was presented by inventor John Keeter, and is based in Clemmons, North Carolina.
