PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Rentrak (NASDAQ: RENT), the leader in precisely measuring movies and TV everywhere, today announced the top weekly cross-platform entertainment rankings for Feb. 25, 2015.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" continues to dominate the charts adding $91.3 million worldwide in its second weekend at the box office--bringing its grand total to an impressive $410.6 million. "Fifty Shades" also whips the competition domestically, making $22.3 million at the box office this weekend for a grand total of $129.2 million.

Meanwhile, "Kingsman: The Secret Service" fiercely guards its number two spot on both charts, generating $50.5 million worldwide last weekend ($153.7 million total) and $18.3 domestically ($67.9 million total). Not to be set adrift, kids' favorite "Spongebob Squarepants: Sponge Out of Water" soaked up $37.4 million worldwide and $16.6 million domestically over the weekend for a grand total of $201.2 million worldwide and $126.2 million domestically.

Notably, Academy Award(®) nominee "American Sniper" soldiers on in the fourth spot on our worldwide chart with a grand total of $428.1 million.

"Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," inspired by the beloved children's book, has a very good week, topping both the DVD and Blu-ray sales and Movies on Demand charts.

In its first time out on Blu-ray Disc, Disney animated favorite "101 Dalmations" comes in second on our DVD and Blu-ray sales chart, while "Nightcrawler" creeps into the number two spot for Movies on Demand.

"John Wick" hits our digital movie and sales rentals chart with a vengeance this week, killing it at number one. This Keanu Reeves action flick also ranks number three in Movies on Demand and number four in DVD and Blu-ray sales.

Rounding out this week's digital movies sales and rentals, Disney's robotic "Big Hero 6" comes in second and "Fury" holds out until the end at number three.

CBS' "NCIS" family wins big on our broadcast TV engagement chart this week with "NCIS: New Orleans" and "NCIS" at number one and two, respectively. The ever popular "The Walking Dead" tops the cable TV engagement chart, followed by another of Tom Selleck's police mystery TV movie series, "Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt," on Hallmark.

Finally, the top spot for social media and digital engagement for viewers of broadcast and cable telecasts goes to Comedy Central's "Key & Peele." "Saturday Night Live" ranks number two followed by the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards(®) at number three.
