Brookfield Residential Hawaii Secures Builder Position for 2nd Televised Renovation
HONOLULU, Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Local marketing agency OrangeRoc anxiously awaits the premier of "A Hero's Welcome" for Veteran's Day. A production of Long Pond Media, OrangeRoc was included among the list of vendors, Trades, and volunteers for contributing to an amazing collaborative community event. This is the second community renovation project where OrangeRoc supported Brookfield Residential with Behind the Scenes assignments. OrangeRoc secured the builder position for Brookfield Residential with the premier of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in 2007.
That project led the producer of "A Hero's Welcome" to call Brookfield Residential in August. OrangeRoc again assisted Brookfield Residential for "A Hero's Welcome" assignments. The program will feature Sergeant Tony Woods and his family who received a home renovation from Brookfield Residential and other local businesses stemming from the Gary Sinise Foundation and Scripps Networks selection of 2014's most deserving veteran from across the country. The selection of Woods was based on his military career and his dedication to our country and the local community. Despite being severely wounded and enduring great hardships of surgeries and rehabilitation, the family opens their home to many children by providing foster care to those in need. The home renovation provides them the space, functionality, and modern technologies to continue caring for their blended family for as long as they are able.
OrangeRoc's team including Melinda Mullis, Marsha Hansen, Michelle Rivera, Chris Lucero, Robin Pignataro, Chris "Makoto" Wheeler, Katherine von Thelen, and Jaydene Viernes provided 374 total hours of 24/7 "boots on the ground" and creative assistance with development of a website for real-time daily coverage including a gallery of Behind the Scenes photographs throughout the course of the full-week renovation. The program, "A Hero's Welcome" premiers tomorrow, November 11(th), on Scripps Networks: HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, Travel Channel, Cooking Channel and Great American Country.
