NATAS Mid-Atlantic and The Press Club of Western Pa. Co-Sponsor "Meet the News Directors"
News directors from the major stations in Pittsburgh will take part in a panel discussion on trends in the industry in a program sponsored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Mid-Atlantic and the The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014. Hear directly from the decision makers on the importance of social media, how they determine coverage for their stations and other topics relevant in the broadcasting arena.
The program will be held at the Engineers Society, 337 Fourth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Registration begins 11 a.m.; program, including lunch, will run 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Attendance is open to communications and media professionals and students.

Cost is $25 for NATAS and Press Club members, $30 for nonmembers, $15 students.
