General election can bring hope, vitality to our nation when voters start with life
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Start With Life is a thought-provoking short film by Right to Life of Michigan about the battle of maintaining and advancing the dignity of human life. At crucial points in our nation's history, the idea that every person is equal under the law has given our nation a hope and vitality unlike any other on earth.
"We have developed this film because now during this election season the battle to protect and defend human life will have the greatest repercussions," said Right to Life of Michigan President Barbara Listing. "Those people we elect to represent us can either choose to uphold the value of human life or to undermine it."
Our government was founded on the premise that every human being is endowed with certain inalienable rights. Current abortion policy, however, leaves children who are preparing to be born without rights.
As voters, we all share in the responsibility to enact a change in our country.
Listing said, "We can bring hope and vitality back to our state and nation when we are willing to stand up to defend the values upon which our nation was founded and vote for candidates who do the same."
The Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee endorsements can be obtained by visiting www.RTL.org/vote.
Listing concluded, "We want people to share the Start With Life film with others, vote in the November 4 general election, and spread the message that every vote can be used to uphold the value of human life." #IStartWithLife
