Backed by the largest and most-trusted entertainment newsroom in Canada,
ETALK presented Canadian viewers with the best seats in the house, reporting
from various celebrity hotspots across the city. In the ETALK Lounge
and Gifting Suite at the InterContinental Toronto Centre Hotel, ETALK landed exclusive interviews with Channing Tatum and Jane Fonda, and
hosted dozens of others stars, including Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Mark
Ruffalo, Andrew Garfield, Christopher Plummer, Ethan Hawke, Scott
Speedman, Catherine Keener, and many more.

The show scored an exclusive sit down with the cast of This is Where I Leave You, including Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Corey Stoll, and Adam Driver. ETALK also collected plenty of celebrity Twitpics at the Twitter Mirror in the
lounge from the likes of Sam Worthington, Jon Stewart, Cara Delevingne,
Kate Beckinsale, Shemar Moore, Hayden Christensen, and more. Other
festival highlights include #BillMurrayDay (Sept. 5), when ETALK gifted Murray with his very own crown and sash, which he wore proudly during the evening leading up to the premiere of
his new film, St. Vincent.

ETALK also hosted the 9(th) annual Canadian Filmmakers Party at The Spoke Club, as well as the
Great Canadian Talent Face-off, presented by Telefilm. ETALK had more Canadian event exclusives than ever, including cameras inside
Paul Haggis' Artists for Peace and Justice event, TIFF 2014 Rising
Stars brunch, the E1 Party, and Xavier Dolan's after-party, to name a
few.

And in an entertainment show first, ETALK also unveiled the "ETALK Star Screen powered by Baanto" during TIFF, a
110-inch interactive video screen that changed the way Canada's
most-watched entertainment news show presented its nightly festival
coverage. The massive Canadian-made interactive screen put the control
room in front of the camera, allowing anchors Ben Mulroney and Tanya
Kim, and the rest of the ETALK team to manipulate the show's action with a touch of a finger. From
tracking celebrity locations, to creatively flipping from celebrity
sightings to on-location feeds, red carpet fashions, and social media
chatter, the new cutting edge Star Screen displayed it all in one
dynamic environment.

Viewers can catch up on highlights of ETALK's 2014 TIFF coverage on CTV's digital platforms, including ETALK.ca/TIFF and the CTV GO app.
