Hobart Ocean And Heffron Drive Together Draw Over A Thousand Fans To CityWalk



BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Aug. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hobart Ocean, who is in CityWalk's successful Street Performer program, also recently signed a worldwide deal with Swift Endeavor, and made their debut on the "5 Towers" stage for Universal CityWalk's free summer "Music Spotlight Series." The much anticipated performance drew a crowd of well over a thousand fans. They performed for forty five minutes playing their own original songs while also showcasing two cover performances, "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic and "Still Into You" by Paramore. Hobart Ocean finished with their newly released single "Another Heartbreak" currently available for pre-order on iTunes or Google Play and soon to be released worldwide on August 19. Travis Leonard the lead singer who unexpectedly jumped into the crowd while singing "Another Heartbreak" setting off a wave of excitement has this to say, "All I can remember was it being a spontaneous moment and it was our last song for the night. The fans were singing along and we were just having a good time." After their live performance Jaron Lancaster, the bass guitarist, said, "We are pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of this year's Music Spotlight Series. It has been an amazing year for us." The drummer Mattias Hagström goes on to say "First the Street Performer program then a record deal. We are appreciative. We won't let our fans down. We are working harder than ever." Hobart Ocean surprised their fans with an unscheduled meet and greet at their merchandise table while the show continued with Heffron Drive. Heffron Drive, featuring Kendall Schmidt from Big Time Rush and Dustin Belt, continued the energy throughout the night, finishing the concert at 9:00 PM. The meet and greet with Hobart Ocean lasted over an hour after the concert.
