WTNH News 8 Grows Rating by 7% in May

9th Consecutive Month of News Audience Growth

NEW HAVEN, Conn., May 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- All around the clock Connecticut viewers turned to WTNH News 8 during the May sweeps period. News 8's 7% year-over-year growth in all household news ratings from 5a-12m will represent the 9(th) consecutive month of news audience growth for the station. In addition, News 8's newly launched local sports show, SportzEdge Tonight, brought the 10:45-11p time period on MyTV9 up by 17% and the expansion of Good Morning Connecticut at 4:30a grew the time period by a whopping 120%.
