SANTA MONICA, Calif., May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Echo & The Bunnymen are premiering the video for their first UK single "Lovers On The Run" from their forthcoming album Meteorites on NME.com today. They recently announced their return to the U.S. for a tour which begins August 1(st) in Los Angeles at the historic Orpheum Theatre. Confirmed dates listed below. Produced by Youth (Killing Joke, The Verve), Meteorites contains ten hand-picked new songs written by founder Ian McCulloch and performed by Bunnymen stalwarts McCulloch and Will Sergeant along with Gordy Goudie (guitar) and Stephen Brannan (bass). In addition to "Lovers On The Run" the band is releasing "Holy Moses" as the first U.S. single. Described by Ian McCulloch as the worthy successor to Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain, Meteorites will be release in the UK on May 26(th) and the U.S. on June 3(rd).
