New Local LA Bands Initiate Music Series Atop Hollywood's Historic 1600 VINE Building
1600 VINE AND MUSICPUNK INVITE LOCAL BANDS TO "COME HOME TO HOLLYWOOD"
HOLLWYOOD, Calif., April 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In collaboration with MusicPunk, Hollywood's 1600 VINE luxury apartment complex has announced a series of showcase concerts to help launch emerging acts in the film capitol's ever burgeoning contemporary music scene. The presentation series will kick off with the April 9th appearance by Folk Riot, and will take place under the stars and overlooking all of Hollywood and Los Angeles on the twelve-story structure's Heart Of Hollywood Terrace from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
"This 1600 VINE music series will ultimately be streamed nationally with the events listed on the MusicPunk App," it was noted by Brian Sayers, Co-Founder of MusicPunk, the innovative mobile app that connects music fans around the country with bands and DJs of all genres, local and touring alike. He stated that "1600 VINE's presentations of new artists and acts will occur before live invitational audiences of young music industry executives and also for the residents of the building's 375 apartment units comprising a high demographic of youthful entertainment movers and shakers."
"The concert series is a new aspect of 1600 VINE's special amenities for our occupants," according to Robert Klein, president of Klein Financial Corporation. "This concert series deepens our partnership with Hollywood in helping the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce restore this locale's iconic luster as the world capitol of entertainment."
Klein Financial Corporation also undertakes similar community conscious programs in its other Los Angeles properties, including Met Lofts in the Staples/LA Live sports and entertainment activity neighborhood in downtown LA, and Wilshire Vermont in the fast-growing Koreatown area.
"We feel that 1600 VINE's location on the historic site of the Hollywood Brown Derby lends itself to the building's responsibility to be a leading sponsor of the pop culture resurgence of this area." Klein adds. "This is part of our commitment to engage with the cultural developments in all of the influential neighborhoods in which our complexes are located."
Last year the Los Angeles City Council presented certificates of merit to 1600 VINE and Met Lofts for "leadership in returning high-end rental residence to the various arts and recreational centers of the city."
Sayers explained that his company, "allows bands and DJ's across the US to add their gigs daily to the MusicPunk App as a growing music fan base with access to current live music events in their towns. And now they'll be able to share live performances in the most beautiful venue in Hollywood, whose name is synonymous with movies, television and music. 1600 VINE sits on one of the most historic sites where mass entertainment began and was nourished."
