Highlighting their dreams and achievements, Vme TV will broadcast the award ceremony and introduce the viewers to each of this year's seven honorees, including a spotlight on award-recipient Javeshnev Rivera Azua, a South Florida teacher recognized as a role model for educators nationwide, and Hollywood actress Génesis Rodriguez, who was honored with the Inspira Award.

"Far too often, Spanish language networks in the United States fail to report on the positive accomplishments of young Latinos, some of which will become the future leaders of the United States," said Victor X. Cerda, Vme TV's senior vice president of corporate strategy. "Vme TV is proud to highlight these students as part of our mission to broadcast socially responsible content that inspires other Latinos to persevere and to achieve their academic goals. By partnering with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, we hope to highlight the everyday success stories of Latinos across our great nation. "

For the past 15 years, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Awards have honored Latino high school seniors who excel in the classroom and in their communities in the following categories: STEM, Healthcare, Education, Green, Business and Finance, Arts, and Fitness.
