Episode 11 Recap

The seven remaining home cooks lift their Mystery Boxes to find...nothing!
Instead, they all have to work with what's under the judges' Mystery
Box: a tank teeming with live Nova Scotia lobsters. Mike keeps it
simple with a deconstructed lobster roll and lands his first Mystery
Box victory. In a surprising elimination challenge twist, Mike gets to
pair the remaining home cooks for a Tag-Team Challenge in which each
pair must make a platter of Dim Sum. He strategically pairs two home
cooks who regularly butt heads - Eric and Kaila. With strong teamwork,
Pino and Tammara win the challenge, leaving Marida and Julie at the
bottom. Ultimately, Julie is proven to be the weakest link, and is
eliminated from the MASTERCHEF CANADA kitchen.

MASTERCHEF CANADA airs Mondays at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT on CTV and CTV GO (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). Last night's episode is now
available on demand at CTV.ca and the CTV GO app.

Next week:

Coming up on the next all-new episode of MASTERCHEF CANADA (Monday, April 7), the Top 6 home cooks are confronted with a classic MasterChef team

kitchen they'll be taking over belongs to one of the MASTERCHEF CANADA judges! After an extremely close call, the losing team faces a beloved
Canadian classic in a Pressure Test - but this well-known sweet treat
is deceptively difficult to master. The final Top 6 home cooks vying

-- Kaila Klassen, born in Penticton, B.C., currently resides in
West Kelowna, B.C.
