Advertising Innovator William Apfelbaum Joins Screenvision Board of Directors
NEW YORK, May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Screenvision, a national leader in cinema advertising, announces William M. Apfelbaum as the newest board member of the company, effective immediately. Apfelbaum, who currently serves as Chairman of MaxWorldwide Inc., an investment holding company, is a renowned industry leader whose career spans over 35 years in the advertising business.

Apfelbaum currently sits on the board for Elevate Digital, an interactive display company, in addition to several other corporations and foundations.
During his extensive career, Apfelbaum operated as Chairman of Titan, a leader in outdoor advertising which he founded in 2001. He also founded CBS Plus, a corporation-wide cross-media custom sales unit of this Big Three network, and was involved in the management of all CBS divisions prior to his leaving in 2000.
In addition, Apfelbaum served as a venture partner at several private equity firms, as well as President, Chairman, and CEO of TDI Worldwide, where he used his business development acumen to grow the corporation and coordinated its successful sale to Infinity Broadcasting (later CBS) in 1996. Prior to joining TDI, he served as the President of Gannett Transit, formerly New York Subways Advertising Co., Inc.
