The Headhunter College Tour will feature a full-size tour bus that will travel across the U.S., hosting live auditions at each stop to find a male and female host of HEADHUNTER. HEADHUNTER, a 6-episode series launching this summer on Style Stage (www.noisey.com/stylestage), will feature the two hosts as they visit music festivals and events nationwide this spring and summer in search of the newest emerging hair and style trends.
Beginning April 11, the Headhunter College Tour is also open to online auditions to cast the two hosts of HEADHUNTER. Prospective hosts can visit noisey.com/headhunter and submit a video message answering a few simple questions about their love of style and music.
"Personal style and self-expression are tremendous in the music scene, especially among emerging artists," said Debora Koyama, Assistant Vice President of Marketing, Garnier Fructis. "Our hosts will act as your trusted curators of style, giving unique insider access to the looks they're seeing now with a nod to what's coming next."
Launched at the SXSW Music Festival in March, Style Stage celebrates the intersection of hair, style, and music with online and in-person content and experiences rolling out this year. Style Stage features some of the most expressive looks of the world's most influential musicians, shining a light on iconic hair and personal styles from the past, and those emerging on the music scene today. Style Stage celebrated the launch with an original documentary film, featuring intimate interviews with Chairlift, Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells, IO Echo, Eve, Tegan and Sara, and more. The full documentary is available at: http://noisey.vice.com/style-stage-video/style-stage-documentary.
"Music festivals have always been a great place for people to discover new artists and looks," said Kim Taylor Bennett, Editor, Style Stage. "We're excited for Style Stage to be the first online series dedicated to uncovering the latest emerging styles and music from the biggest and best festivals coming up this season."
