Phoenix Communication Group's Sports NewSatellite, better known as "SNS" to sportscasters, will use NIMxchange to distribute fast breaking HD sports to television newsrooms across the nation. Producers at SNS can simply drag and drop stories onto NIMxchange, which automagically normalizes, cross-converts and down-converts the video, and then compresses it into broadcast industry standard h.264 and MPEG-2 allowing SNS affiliates to download content in their native definition and compression formats.
