Champion Sisters release new single and music video, Beauty Way

HOUSTON, Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Champion Sisters today announced the release of Beauty Way, a new single from their third album, Unfit To Be Tied, along with the single's video. Mark Andes, in collaboration with Eliza Gilkyson, wrote the song.

Beauty Way touches on the sisters' loss of their father, George Champion, a well-known country western musician and singer who passed away at age 39. George Champion played with notable country musicians including Johnny Bush, George Jones and Utah Carl. The sisters, Brenda, Sandra, and Molly, found inspiration through his life to pursue their passions in music, and this song pays tribute to his legacy.

The video was produced by Sandra Champion's youngest son, Christian Torres, with additional post-production by Ross Wells of Zenfilm Studios, includes scenes from the Champion Sisters' childhood and their father's career along with glimpses of the trio honoring their father's memory. The video for Beauty Way can be viewed on YouTube and Vevo.

Unfit To Be Tied, recorded under the guidance of Mark Andes and Andy Bradley, was released in September 2012. The album's first single, License to Love, and accompanying video, were also released at that time. The album was recorded and produced at SugarHill Recording, the studio where their father recorded in the 1950s and 60s.

"It was really special for us to record Beauty Way, especially since working in the same studio where our father recorded," said Brenda Champion. "We didn't even know its significance until the studio historian brought it to our attention."
