ASBC's eighth Pastor, Reverend Dr. Howard-John Wesley, a young adult himself, is dedicated to the preached Word and spiritual growth of young Christians globally. "The Word of God is the backbone at CAYA as every service and activity is in honor and praise to Jesus Christ. CAYA is a unique Christian service that delves into the controversial subjects that young adults are struggling with and gives a Christian response to relevant issues. The Annual CAYA Rooftop Party focuses on providing an alternative social venue for Christians who are growing in Christ and looking for a positive opportunity that does not conflict with their walk. Relax, Relate and Rooftop is focused on Christian fellowship, providing a place to dance, network, and hangout responsibly.
CAYA has services the first Wednesday of every month with a Social Session at 6:30 and Service starting at 7:30, at the Alfred Street Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA. Since its inception in 2009, CAYA has continued to grow its presence from Alexandria, Virginia to over eighteen countries reaching upwards of 5,000 people monthly.
