Brenda Strong continues to bring needed attention to infertility and family building
LOS ANGELES, June 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Fertility Association (The AFA) congratulates National Spokesperson Brenda Strong on the premiere of the TNT series "Dallas." Ms. Strong plays Ann Ewing on the continuation of the famous show.
"Brenda has been a tireless advocate for The AFA and its mission to provide hope for all those trying to build their families through assisted reproduction and adoption," said Stuart Bell, immediate past Board Co-Chair and current Board Member. He continued, "She has given us not only her celebrity as our National Spokesperson to raise the profile of the organization, but also her heart and diligent work as a dedicated board member who is in the trenches to make a real difference in the world."
The AFA gives hope through education and empowerment to the 7.3 million women who experience some level of difficulty conceiving, and also reaches out to men regarding male factor infertility, to young people regarding infertility prevention and preservation, and to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) communities to help them fulfill their dreams of becoming parents.
"The AFA is fortunate beyond measure to have Brenda Strong as our National Spokesperson," stated Ken Mosesian, Executive Director. "Brenda is passionate about family and about helping others experience the joy of family, and her voice has given The AFA's message far greater reach than we otherwise would have had," he concluded.
