American Airlines, CBS Television Stations Team Up To Raise Awareness For Children In Need

Campaign Features Actress Pauley Perrette Inviting Customers to Support American's Miles For Kids In Need Program









NEW YORK, May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year, American Airlines and the CBS Television Stations group have teamed together to raise awareness for American Airlines Miles For Kids In Need® - part of the American Airlines Kids In Need(SM) program - which provides support for a variety of purposes related to the well-being of children and their families.

This year's TV spots will feature actress Pauley Perrette from the hit CBS drama NCIS and encourages members of the American Airlines AAdvantage® loyalty program to donate their unused AAdvantage miles to American's Miles For Kids In Need program. The recently launched 10-, 15- and 30-second spots are currently airing on CBS-owned stations across the country, and can also be viewed online at AA.com/JoinUs.

Founded in 1989, the American Airlines Miles For Kids In Need program provides air travel for children and their families via partnerships with some of the world's foremost organizations dedicated to caring for children. In 2011 alone, members of the AAdvantage( )program donated more than 117 million miles, which helped provide support to nearly 300 children's organizations globally, as well as transportation for 288 critically ill children and 241 family members for essential medical treatments.
