WE tv Asia to Premiere New Season of Tabatha's Salon Takeover on 13th September
NEW YORK, September 7, 2011/PRNewswire/ --
WE tv Asia will hit the open road this summer with the premiere of a new
season of Tabatha's Salon Takeover starting 13th September at 10pm. Stylish
host and hair design guru Tabatha Coffey will help transform the lives of
salon owners throughout America as she confiscates the keys to the
establishments and takes over as boss for one week. Bringing her
unapologetic, brutally honest approach to salon owners and stylists, Tabatha
gives the struggling businesses the advice and support they need to get back
on track.
"No task was too big to conquer as I travelled across America to face
one salon disaster after another," said Tabatha in her trademark, direct
style. "Many of these businesses were on the verge of closing down, so it
was really time for these owners to face up to the future. It's been an
interesting challenge to help turn these salons around. There were some
casualties on the salon floor, so viewers will have to tune in to watch all
the drama unfold."
In the debut episode, Chinese-American sisters the Phun family submit to
Tabatha's tough demands. Sisters Cindy and Marjorie opened up Mia Bella
salon in California four years ago and employ their younger sisters, Karen
and Janet. The younger sisters take the salon for granted, which sends Cindy
over the edge in front of clients. Tabatha moves in with the Phun sisters
and stages a family intervention in order to save the salon and their
relationships. The 10-episode 60-minute series will continue with new
episodes every Tuesday at 10pm.
