Hospice of the Western Reserve Free Community Event, Voices for Hospice, Set for October 8, 2011
CLEVELAND, Sept. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, October 8, the African American Outreach Committee at Hospice of the Western Reserve is celebrating World Hospice and Palliative Care Day by hosting its annual free community event, Voices for Hospice: Many Lives, Many Voices.
In conjunction with this international initiative dedicated to increasing awareness about hospice and palliative care, Hospice of the Western Reserve will host a panel discussion consisting of clergy, healthcare professionals, family members with hospice experience and other community resources in educating underserved populations about hospice and palliative care.
Voices for Hospice will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marriott Cleveland East located at 26300 Harvard Road, Warrensville Heights, OH 44122. Featuring MAJIC 105.7's co-host, Jimmy Malone, this community event will also include free lunch and health screenings with music by Councilman Kevin Conwell and The Footprints.
