Mayra Veronica's Pop Anthem "Freak Like Me" Brings Lyrics To Life In Seductive New Music Video

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Success is a word that Mayra Veronica has become synonymous with after the release of her latest dance single "Freak Like Me" hit clubs nationwide early this summer. Last week, music television pioneer MTV became the first network to debut the video "Freak Like Me" on its progressive sister station, LOGO, while behind-the-scenes footage and full feature video went global with its release on AOL Digital. The single "Freak Like Me" remains on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Chart's coveted Top 10, but the launch of the stimulating video is expected to catapult Veronica into an even higher echelon of success, alongside female music magnates like Britney Spears, Beyonce and Kylie Minogue.

Anticipation of a visual version for "Freak Like Me" has been imminent considering the sexual nature of a certain elevator scene between Veronica and male supermodel/actor Antonio Sabato, Jr. "The song itself is sensual, but the elevator scene (in the video) is so hot, it literally made me sweat. It's everything that could potentially race through a woman's mind," she confesses. The video was shot inside Vanity Nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel Towers in Las Vegas, aptly dubbed "Sin City." Several provocative hotel bedroom scenes were cut from the final product to maintain its integrity for network television and audiences of a less mature age. Mayra Veronica is a siren with no intention of going unheard.
