Fan Mosaics Marks 45th Star Trek® Anniversary with Officially Licensed Photo Mosaics

Captain Kirk, U.S.S. Enterprise and Spock Photos to Be Re-Created from Fan-Submitted Images

NORTHFIELD, Ohio, Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- When the clock strikes midnight EDT the morning of September 8--officially beginning the 45th anniversary of Star Trek --the celebration starts on the Fan Mosaics website. Fans of Star Trek: The Original Series will be able to upload images for inclusion in three officially licensed Star Trek photo mosaics.

The fan-submitted images will be used to re-create iconic Captain Kirk, U.S.S. Enterprise and Spock photos, which will be turned into limited-edition prints. Only 2,500 fans can submit images for and own each individual Star Trek photo mosaic; 1,701 can submit images for and own the Deluxe Edition Set featuring all three photos.

To participate, fans can visit the Star Trek Fan Mosaics web page, located at www.FanMosaics.com/StarTrek. They can choose to upload an image for one Star Trek photo mosaic or the Deluxe Edition Set of all three. Included in the cost is the image upload, one limited-edition 24"x 36" print of each mosaic they've selected and a numbered certificate of participation and authenticity.

Thousands of fans have already signed up for a reminder email on the Fan Mosaics Star Trek web page and are ready to claim their space in the photo mosaics. All Star Trek fans will want to log on to the website at midnight September 8 to secure their spot in Star Trek history.
