Arabia 3D Preview Screening Extends the Experience

What: A media preview of the exhibition 1001 Inventions: Discover the Golden Age of Muslim Civilization, an international traveling exhibition exploring the scientific contributions made by men and women during the Golden Age of Muslim Civilization. The exhibition showcases contributions of scholars from a diverse region stretching from Spain through China during the 7(th) to 17(th) centuries. Visitors will discover how scholars from this region, of various faiths and cultures, preserved, nurtured, and advanced the world's knowledge in science and technology.

Extend your experience with a preview of the IMAX adventure Arabia 3D. The first major film production filmed entirely in Saudi Arabia, Arabia 3D follows Saudi Arabian film student, Hamzah Jamjoom, as he returns home from the U.S. to make a film about his heritage. Filmed at more than 20 locations--from Hamzah's hometown of Jeddah by the Red Sea, to the modern metropolis of Riyadh, to the ancient tombs of Madain Saleh, to the holy city of Mecca--Arabia 3D offers an understanding of the cultural landscape of the Arabian peninsula.
